All C.R.O.S.S,

Yes and a Big Amen my Brothers!

We should plan the same run we went on that day a year ago. August 30, 2009 is a Sunday. I for one am willing to have church out on the
open road Glorifying God. We’ll ride up 101 to 85 to 280 on up to Pacifica and have lunch at Nick's Restaurant where we ate that day. Keith
picked it out mainly because we were all starving and couldn’t find a Burger King.

Then we will ride due south on the coast highway (Highway 1) to Davenport. Stretch the old legs, then on over to Santa Cruz Dude.  Although,
we didn't go to the boardwalk (to crowded) We went to the Santa Cruz Harley shop. But this time we might want to rumble through the small
hamlet and roll on down to the pier and terrorize the locals a little. I can’t help to think that our beloved Brother would approve of that. I can
see that crocked grin and that gleam in his eye now.

Then it was down highway 1 to 129 and on to 55 Peckham Road in Watsonville  to Gizdich Ranch for some Berry Berry ala mode pie. It would
be so awesome if we had an “All hands on deck” or “All CROSS” call to honor Captain America on the anniversary of him going home. It would
also be awesome to document the run with video as well as photos.

Just somebody, trying to tell anybody, about somebody
that can save everybody. COMEON SOMEBODY!

This date is the very date one year ago that one of the superstars of C.R.O.S.S., Captain Keith Wander, Naval Aviator, C.R.O.S.S.
National Secretary and beloved Brother in Christ to all of us, lost his life in a tragic accident while riding with his C.R.O.S.S.
Brothers.  This is why it is on a Sunday and for a very good reason.

And, since Keith is CLEARLY in heaven riding on streets of Gold, we all should celebrate his short life on this planet doing what he
loved to do... Ride with his Brothers in Christ and eat Berry Berry ala mode pie!!!

Sponsoring Chapter: South County C.R.O.S.S.
These were taken 71 days before his passing during the Berkley public rally against the
Marine Recruiting Station closure.  We were all standing in front of Keith's chopper that was
having some fuel leaking challenges that day!! (top picture)   I remember how detailed,
thorough and serious he was during his rider orientation before the ride that morning.

See you there!
